Let's make it clear up-front: Nerd World's Advisory Board selects The NerdWorld Nifty-Fifty. Additions and deletions are made to the Nifty-Fifty on a regular basis - every month - or when they stumble onto a nifty one, or when the mood strikes them. Our Advisory Board sends us e-mail and we do a little dance and make the changes to the list.
Selections are made based on the following criteria:
1. Does the site add something unique, or interesting, or cool to the …
a. Web?
b. Lives of Web users?
c. Nerd community?
2. Does the site use interesting navigation, technology, features or presentation characteristics? Does the site work as described?
There are no guarantees that a site will stay on the list or be dropped. Sites will change from time-to-time. The Nifty-Fifty will include all manner of sites.
Nerdworld will track the top five Nifty-Fifty sites on the Nerdworld.com home page.
